The Mango Tree- Lewiston is the best place to eat in Lewiston, hands down! I'll never understand how dog biscuit places like the Happy Day Restaurants pack the place, yet great authentic places, like The Mango Tree don't? If you like overpriced processed food from a box, go to a Happy Day Resteraunts, but if you like real authentic homemade food, try The Mango Tree. Thank me later!

This place was great! We haven’t had much indian food before, and staff was helpful in giving us recommendations. Food was delicious with big portions. We ordered samosas, shahi paneer, and korma curry with prawns. We will be returning 😁

LOVED this place. Everything was so delicious. Our waitress was wonderful. I’ve had Indian food in a few different countries and this was one of the best. I can’t wait to go back.

We felt like having Indian food and I remembered that this place now exists and we hadn't tried it yet. When we got there we were greeted well and took a little bit to figure out the menu. The menu was a little difficult to figure out what a typical meal was like. I referred to photos that others took to help me figure it out. We got the chicken curry and the lamb chops. We also got the Mango Lassi. The chicken was good, the sauce was very good and we got the level 3 spice, which I felt like was perfect. The lamb was excellent. It was tender and tasted great. The cohesion of the lamb dish was nice because it came with rice, a salad (which was tasty because it had a seasoning on it) on a plate together. The chicken came with rice and flat bread, but these were all given in separate dishes and we were given plates to combine the rice and chicken and flat bread and eat it in a more traditional way I am guessing. It just doesn't make sense to me to serve the lamb one way and the others the other way, but that's just me. I can see it being useful if we both got something from the bowl section. The mango drink was great and the service was good. The food took a while to get out, especially considering we were the only table there at the time. I can see how this might be a much longer wait if it was super busy. Overall though, I am glad we have an Indian restaurant in town now and we will be back. I hope the inside gets adjusted to look less like Tapped and more Indian maybe.

My research lab group came her after a rafting trip down in Riggins. The food was delicious and the service was great. We were a new employee's first 8-top and they were very patient and friendly with us. The atmosphere is very nice, the seats are comfortable and the decor is enjoyable to look at.

The only restaurant I really enjoyed in this Idaho trip. We're based in Spain so we really have a bit of a high standard when it comes to dining and it's important for us to find places that serve food that don't seem too unhealthy, and this hits all the spot.
Excellent customer service too. We'll definitely drop by again before flying out

As a thriller and romance author, I’m always looking for places with strong atmosphere and real flavor, and The Mango Tree - Lewiston delivers on both.
The space itself makes an impression right away. There’s a large bar in the center with plenty of seating around it, which gives the whole restaurant an energetic feel. The lighting is stylish, and the Indian artwork on the walls adds real character. It’s right in downtown Lewiston, which makes it an easy and fun place to stop in.
The food was excellent. I ordered a curry dish, and the flavor was exactly what I would expect. I’ve traveled around India for a couple of weeks, so I have a frame of reference, and this matched that authentic taste profile very well. The spices were balanced and the overall dish felt true to what you’d hope for from an Indian restaurant.
The beer selection was solid, and both the server and bartender were attentive and friendly. They stayed on top of things even while the restaurant was busy. It also looked like they had a steady stream of DoorDash orders going out, which says something about how popular the place is locally.
Overall, The Mango Tree combines good atmosphere, authentic flavor, and strong service. It’s a great addition to downtown Lewiston and a place I’m glad to see thriving.
